Did you know That Dynisco offers a portable pressure source that can quickly & accurately check pressure transducers in the field? To verify that a transducer is reading pressure perform, the steps are straight-forward.

  • Uninstall the transducer from the process, wipe away all polymer from the threads and 45° seat and let it cool down to ambient temperature.
  • After it has cooled, install it in the PPS1100’s pressure port on the manifold.
  • Power up the PPS1100 and select the required engineering unit (PSI, BAR, MPA)
  • Adjust the zero and pump the pressure source until the desired pressure appears on the PPS1100 display (maximum pressure is 10,000 PSIG/700 BAR).
    •  The corresponding pressure will also read on the 1490 indicator that you have powered & connected with a Bendix 6 or 8 pin cable.

The PPS1100 (p/n 901876) comes with power cable and a calibration certificate and currently has a four (4) week lead time.  Please see your local rep or distributor for pricing.
